May 15th

Due to the ladies retreat that runs from May 15th to May 17th, the May 15th Thursday night service will be canceled. All other activities are scheduled to run as normal.

Prayer Meeting

The next prayer meeting is May 2nd. The prayer meething is going to take place from 8pm to 10-ish. You can come for any or all of this time. Please see bob from more details.

Ladies Prayer Meeting

The ladies prayer meeting that was scheduled to take place May 13 has been canceled. This is largely due to the ladies retreat that is scheduled to take place that same weekend.

Ladies Retreat Reminder

This is just a friendly reminder that the last day of sign up for the ladies retreat is this Sunday. Your money and registration form needs to be given to Erica Whitney or Aleyne Brown.

Work Day

On Saturday April 26, we will be having a church work day to clean up the yard. We will be starting at around 7am and ending before noon. Feel free to stop in at any point in that time frame. For more details see Josh Matthews.

1 Corinthians

This Sunday, Pastor Steve will be starting the book of 1 Corinthians in the morning as we have finished the book of John.

Youth Outing

On Saturday, May 3rd (10th if it rains hard), all young men, ages 7 to 13 (give or take) are encouraged to attend an outing at Almanac Mountain in Springfield. The trip will include an introduction to orienteering, geocaching and wilderness navigation, as well as a Bible study and lunch at the top of the mountain.

We will leave from the church at 10am Saturday morning and are expected back around 3pm. Hot dogs and trail mix will be provided as a lunch.

Each child should be equipped with proper footwear for a light to moderate day hike, about a liter of water and a Bible. Optional pieces of equipment that will be helpful are a compass, backpack and any additional food your child desires.

Bob will be hosting a prayer meeting Friday night from 8pm to 10pm. Please see Bob for more details.

Ladies Retreat

The ladies retreat is scheduled to take place May 15 to May 17 this year and is for post high school age woman and above only please, infants cannot be accommodated.

Registration in Lincoln begins Sunday, April 13th and ends Sunday, April 27th. A $50.00 nonrefundable deposit must accompany all registration forms. The registrations will be accepted by Erica Whitney or Aleyne Brown after any service. Prices includes two nights lodging, breakfast, lunch, dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday (Thursday Dinner is not included). Incidentals, such as phone calls must be paid at checkout. Single night and day visits are not available. All money owed for the retreat must be paid in full on April 27th.

Optional Free Time Activities: Rest, hiking, walking ,shopping, pool and spa (modest swim wear please).

There will be an opportunity for Baptisms, please bring a t-shirt to cover bathing suit. Things To Bring: Bible, nonperishable finger foods to share, money for bookstore (20% sale) and appropriate gear for free time activities.

$130.00 per person four to a room (two double beds)

$150.00 per person three to a room (two double beds)

$170.00 per person two to a room (one king bed)

Ladies Prayer

The ladies will be meeting at the church on Tuesday at 6:30pm for a time of prayer. All ladies 12 and older are encouraged to attend.
