  • Operation Christmas Child

Hey church family! Last Sunday, I announced that boxes for Operation Christmas Child would be accepted until Monday, November 27th. I was incorrect! Boxes can only be dropped off at LCF up until 11:00 A.M. this upcoming Monday morning, Nov. 20th. I'm really sorry for how last minute this is for those who are planning to shop and complete boxes. I will post another reminder on Saturday - Sam This is a resource to help you pack!

  • Pray

Hey church family, I'm sure many of you, like our family, are watching the hurricane ripping through the Caribbean on its way to the Southeastern US. My brother and his finance are down there. The Thurlows have family down there, as well as the Susans, Bruce and Julie, and many others. First and foremost, let's continue praying (see Acts 27), asking God for specific protection. Of course, this is not limited to Hurricane Irma, but Harvey, the fires on the West Coast, etc. If you have family and friends that you would like prayer for, please leave a comment and I - and many others - will continue to pray for them. "Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Cor. 4:16-18) We may have the opportunity to help those around us, especially those who do not know Jesus Christ, to see past the fragility of this world to the unshakeable kingdom of our Savior! Sam and Jess
